The $5m improvements at Tui Ridge were put to their biggest test last week when the venue hosted a camp for 1350 Seventh-day Adventists from throughout the North island.
Re-development work taking 18 months was completed before Christmas, including the building of a $1.6m auditorium capable of seating 1000 people. Other major improvements have included sewerage, road upgrades and coonstructing an ablution block and 21 cabins.

Dr David McClintock returns to Tweed Valley College to assume the role of principal.
At the end of 2007, the principal of Tweed Valley College, Mr Andy Matthes transferred to Avondale College, a tertiary education institution, as a senior lecturer in the Education Department. He will share his expertise in primary education with primary training educators over the next few years.
