In Queensland, the Seventh-day Adventist Church operates three accommodation sites. An excellent facility is located in Esk, ideal for large groups, conferences or educational retreats.

At Camp Somerset you can retreat into the healing world of nature where the sunlit air is fresh, the view is long and the ecology is unspoiled. Located only 130km from Brisbane, Camp Somerset has 1000 acres of breathtaking scenery - a wide variety of flora and fauna, mountains, valleys and lakes.
The camp is bordered by Lake Somerset and the Mount Glorious State Forest.
Camp Somerset is ideal for -

- Photographers and birdwatchers
- Group seminars or workshops

Facilities Available -
Accommodation - self contained, single and duplex cabins to house 130 people (10 in each cabin) with panoramic views of the lake and mountains
- Three lakeside unpowered camping sites, with nearby shelter sheds and composting toilets (byo)
- A dining facility for 250, including kitchen and administration centre is presently under construction.
- Bush chapel

*Waterskiing, sailing and sail-boarding

- Horse riding can be arranged with 'Mountain Lakes Horse Rides'
