WorshipOur Worship Program

There are many different ways to worship God. Music, prayer, singing and Bible study are some of the ways we can honour God.

The style of worship can vary in each local Seventh-day Adventist church. Whether you consider a church conservative or contemporary, the focus should be on glorifying God and on helping and encouraging each other in our daily life.

Every Saturday, Adventists meet to worship together. Most churches begin at 9.30 am for Sabbath school, which is Bible study in small groups. The worship service, which is the preaching of the Word, begins at 11 am and ends at midday. You may contact your local church to find out what time the worship program starts.

Explained in this section is our program, purpose for collecting offerings, and special occasions that may occur during the worship service.
