Youth moved by testimonies at combined worship night

More than 300 young people gathered at Eight Mile Plains Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brisbane on June 6 for a night of praise, testimony and worship.

The event was hosted by My Edge magazine—the official publication of the Australian Union Conference youth department—in collaboration with Brisbane-based youth ministry Ingreign, which runs monthly Friday night worship services for youth aged 16 and over.

Centred around the theme “Redefined,” the program featured testimonies from Mel and Jason Borody and Janelle Bocala. Their stories focused on the healing and transforming power of God and encouraged attendees to trust Him through challenges.

Music was led by the Ingreign band, with special performances by Kacey Gillespie, Jether Lapojapo, Anna Beaden and Janelle Bocala.

“The testimonies that were shared resonated with all of us, as we all face similar battles with our faith,” said attendee Jazmin Gonzalez from Gold Coast Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. “Hearing how God moved in [the speakers’] lives was so inspiring and uplifting. What an amazing night. We can’t wait for the next one!”

Following the event’s success, My Edge has announced plans to collaborate with other youth ministries across Australia for future events aimed at empowering and connecting young people through worship.
