Come together with Literature Evangelists and friends from Australia and New Zealand, for five days of spiritual growth, skill-sharing and ministry-enriching fellowship. Existing Literature Evangelists, others just getting started in literature ministry, and others sensing God’s prompting to learn to share literature, will come together in this relaxing country setting. Enjoy a day at Signs Publishing in Warburton, and a Sabbath morning in Warburton and later in Nunawading. This time together will empower you to share hope through literature in your community.
Bonus: Youth Rush leaders training
We are committed to investment in young people as potential leaders for the future and invite interested young people to join the bonus Youth Rush training for our arising leaders. This event will precede Summit, running from Sunday September 29 to lunchtime on Tuesday October 1st. Be sure to stay on for LE Summit to be part of the big picture with other young people and LEs.
Visitors are welcome to join us for both Sabbath programs on October 5.
The morning program is at Warburton Church, celebrating 175 years of literature ministry and seeing God’s leading through Literature Ministry over the years. From 9.30am followed by a potluck luncheon; we invite visitors to bring something to share.
The afternoon program is at Nunawading Church at 4pm. Hear testimonies from young people from across Australia and New Zealand who have participated in 2-3 week “Youth Rush” campaigns. Come and learn about the impact that this new method is making in the lives of young people in our churches; in their confidence, faith and shared fellowship.
Free bus transfers between Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and Summit (a relaxed two hours) are available for flight times as follows:
Arrival – Tuesday 1 October
Bus will depart Melbourne Airport at 1pm. Suitable for flights arriving before 12:15pm.
Departure – Sunday 6 October
Bus 1 will depart Summit at 9am and arrive Melbourne Airport by 11am. Suitable for domestic flights after 12pm and international flights after 1pm.
Bus 2 will depart Summit at 10am and arrive Melbourne Airport by 12pm. Suitable for domestic flights after 1pm and international flights after 2pm.
Youth Rush leader training – arrival
Bus will depart Melbourne Airport at 2:30pm on Sunday 29 September. Suitable for flights arriving before 1:30pm.
Conference leaders meetings – departure
Bus will depart Summit at 9am on Thursday 10 October and arrive Melbourne Airport by 11am. Suitable for domestic flights after 12pm and international flights after 1pm.
