CHILDRENS MINISTRIES

Nurturing the Next Generation in Faith

Children’s Ministries provide exciting opportunities for children to strengthen their faith and connect with Jesus through learning about His love for them, and how they can share that love with their family, friends, and community.

About Childrens Ministries

Welcome to the Children’s Ministry page of the Australian Union Conference. We understand the importance of equipping parents to raise their children in a home that is built on Christian values and principles. We believe that the family is the cornerstone of society, and a well-ordered Christian household is a powerful testimony of Christianity.

God calls us to work wisely in our communities, and as parents, we play an important role in sharing the love of Jesus with our children. From the earliest age, it’s important to provide a wise education in Christ’s teachings, teaching them about eternal realities and instilling in them a deep love for God, the Bible, and their Creator.

We strive to support families in their mission to raise their children to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ. We provide age-appropriate programs and resources that are designed to teach children about God’s love and His plan for their lives. We understand that every child is unique and we strive to adapt our instruction to their age, abilities, and needs.

Our goal is to help children grow in their knowledge of God, to develop Christian character, and to be a powerful influence for good in the world. As they learn and grow, they can become a living witness of the practical power of Christianity upon the heart, and a powerful force for spreading the truth to others.

We invite you to explore our Children’s Ministry page and learn more about our programs, resources, and upcoming events. Join us as we work to bring the light of God’s love to the hearts and lives of our children, and to the communities around us.

Child Safety is Our Priority

We believe that “There is no priority higher than protecting children, and other vulnerable people, within our care. This is something close to the heart of God, and cannot be done through wishful thinking or vague aspirations.” SDA Church Manual, South Pacific Division Supplement p239

That’s why we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all the children who participate in our programs and activities.

To help us achieve this goal, we have partnered with Adsafe, a service of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that specialises in the protection of children and vulnerable people. Adsafe provides comprehensive training and resources to help our staff and volunteers create and maintain a safe environment for everyone.

We take this responsibility seriously, and we want you to feel confident that your children are safe and well-cared for when they participate in our programs. If you have any questions or concerns about our safety policies or procedures, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here to help and support you in any way we can.
