Youth Ministries provide exciting opportunities for young people to strengthen their faith and connect with Jesus through learning about His love for them, and how they can share that love with their family, friends, and community.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia is deeply committed to the spiritual growth of young people. Youth Ministries offers various enriching opportunities for youth to strengthen their faith and develop a meaningful connection with Jesus through engaging activities. We provide a space where children, teens and, young adults can discover how to share God’s love with their family, friends, and wider community. Our aim is to provide you with the resources and support necessary for your faith journey.
CONVERGE
Join hundreds of young adults from all corners of Australia in an inspiring four-day retreat known as Converge. Taking place at the beautiful Stuarts Point Convention Centre in NSW, Converge is a spirit-filled gathering organised annually by the Australian Union Conference (AUC).
Over the course of this event, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in powerful worship sessions, enlightening workshops, exhilarating beach visits, and engaging social activities. The underlying themes of our event invite you to become more than just a fan of Jesus, but a devoted follower, and to explore ways to neighbour well in a diverse world.
The passion and dedication of our young attendees truly make Converge a special experience. As AUC youth director Pastor Jeffrey Parker puts it, “The Adventist church is in very good hands with these young adults as our present and future leaders.” This event is not just about growth in numbers, but growth in spiritual leadership and missional living.

MY EDGE
The My Edge Magazine is the official youth ministry magazine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia. Since its launch in 1997, My Edge has evolved with the times, transitioning from a print publication to an all-digital platform, always remaining a relevant and relatable voice for the youth.
Our mission is to engage young people at a crucial stage in their lives, providing content that navigates worldly culture and trends through a Christian lens. We feature discussions on faith, reviews of books, films, and music, and also host events, all designed to resonate with our young audience.
