PERSONAL MINISTRIES

ALL CALLED TO BE MINISTERS OF RECONCILIATION

The Personal Ministries department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church provides can be traced right back to the 1860s. It exists to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members to fulfill their calling to be ministers of reconciliation.

Welcome to the Personal Ministries page of the Australian Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church! We’re glad you’re here. Our mission is simple: to help you grow in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip you to share His love with others. We believe that each of us has a unique calling and ministry in the world, and we want to empower you to fulfill that calling to the best of your ability.

On this page, you’ll find four key areas of focus that we believe are essential to a vibrant and effective personal ministry. From reconnecting and rebuilding our local church to discipling and nurturing others, we’ll explore practical ways to share the love of Jesus in our communities and beyond. Whether you’re a seasoned evangelist or just starting out on your faith journey, we believe there’s something here for you.

So take a look around, get inspired, and get involved! Let’s work together to bring the gospel message to every corner of our world, one person at a time.

Reconnect & Rebuild Let’s get personal! We’re talking about praying, mingling, eating, serving, and encouraging involvement with our fellow church members. Let’s roll up our sleeves and rebuild our local church with love and fellowship!

Preparation & Sowing It’s time to get our hands dirty! From ADRA projects to small group gatherings and visitors’ day, we’re all about sowing the seeds of love and faith. And hey, while we’re at it, let’s break bread together and have a little fun with our Pathfinders and Adventurers!

Harvest & Reaping The time has come to reap what we have sown! Through seminars, Bible studies, evangelistic small groups, and powerful preaching, we’ll bring in the harvest of souls for Christ. And let’s not forget about Prophetica – it’s time to prophesy with power and boldness!

Disciple & Nurture We’re in it for the long haul! We’re all about identifying our gifts, staying Spirit-filled and led, and growing in our faith day by day. And as we grow, we’ll be discipling others, raising up a new generation of Christ followers to carry on the work of the gospel. Let’s do this!

    Introducing the Mission Impact Fund

In our continuous endeavor to spread the message of Christ’s love and salvation, the Seventh-day Adventist Church is thrilled to introduce the Mission Impact Fund. This initiative is a testament to our collective commitment under the I Will Go initiative, aiming to pioneer innovative approaches to reach the unreached with the hope and truth of Jesus Christ.

The Mission Impact Fund is fueled by the generous contributions of our church members, through unrestricted maturities of planned gifts and dedicated donations aimed at supporting front-line ministries. It’s a vibrant testament to our community’s dedication and willingness to invest in the eternal mission. These funds, distinct from traditional tithe contributions, do not adhere to the same spending constraints, allowing for more flexible and targeted use in mission work.

With an annual replenishment and distribution model, the Mission Impact Fund is designed to sustain and support innovative evangelistic efforts for the foreseeable future. It represents a dynamic resource for mission-driven projects and initiatives seeking to make a tangible impact in unentered territories and hearts.

    Seeking Inspiration for Innovative Ministry?

Understanding the challenge of devising new methods to reach those yet untouched by the Gospel, the church offers the SPD Innovation Program. This program serves as a crucible for creativity and innovation, providing training and resources to nurture and refine your ideas into impactful ministry strategies. It’s an opportunity to equip yourself or your team with the skills necessary to innovate effectively within the mission field.

    Expanding Your Church’s Mission Impact

For those looking to amplify their church’s mission impact, consider tapping into additional financial resources through both the GC Mission Impact Funding and SPD Innovation Funding. These avenues offer further support for your innovative mission projects, enabling your church to extend its reach and deepen its impact in sharing Jesus’ message.

As part of the global Seventh-day Adventist family, we are called to be a beacon of hope and a source of healing. The Mission Impact Fund, alongside the SPD Innovation Program, represents our shared commitment to answering this call with creativity, passion, and dedication. Let us move forward together, inspired by the Holy Spirit, to bring the light of Christ to every corner of the earth.
