Strengthening Families, Growing Together in Christ

Welcome to Family Ministries – where families come first! Our team are committed to strengthening and supporting families in their relationships with each other and with God.

About FAMILY Ministries

Welcome to the Family Ministries page of the Australian Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where we’re dedicated to helping families thrive!

We believe that families are the cornerstone of society, and that strong, healthy families are essential for the well-being of individuals, communities, and nations. As Seventh-day Adventists, we’re committed to upholding biblical principles of love, respect, and service within families.

Our goal is to provide resources and support to help families build and maintain strong relationships with God and with each other. We offer a wide range of programs and services, including seminars, workshops, retreats, and counseling services.

At the heart of our work is a deep respect for the sacred institution of the family. Whether you’re a single parent, part of a blended family, or a traditional nuclear family, we’re here to support and encourage you on your journey.

Thank you for visiting our Family Ministries page. We hope that you find the resources and support you need to build strong, healthy, and loving relationships with your family and with God.

Rebuilding The Family Altar

Are you feeling the pressure of daily life weighing you down? Between work, school, extracurricular activities, and household chores, it can be tough to find time for anything else. But what if there was a way to provide a respite for your family to come together and connect with each other and God? That’s where rebuilding the family altar comes in.

As the Psalmist says, “O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.” The Lord has a special interest in the families of His children here below. By starting each day with a shared time of daily devotion and Bible study, you can help your family build mental and spiritual strength to tackle any challenges that arise. And not only that, but it can create a sense of togetherness and closeness, strengthening your family bond.

So, if you’re looking to bring your family closer together and deepen your relationship with God, let’s make it a priority to rebuild the family altar.
